The ability to define an approach in selecting a project is vital
to the planning and development in research. aa After having the
opportunity to review the course learning objectives and
resources, the approach in consideration to define a selected
project includes the following criteria:
Steps in Planning a Project Course of Action for Selection
(Booth et al., 2003):
I. Determine the research area and what evidence is required
II. Determine if there are supportive information to do the
research
III. Identify the significance of the project selection in being
considered
a. Understanding the contextual background regarding
the topic
b. Find out the what, why, and/or how the selected
project become implemented
c. Recognize the overall significance of the project and
study
These factors that will always be in consideration as the
researcher’s expertise and educational background related to the
author’s ability to interpret and advance project knowledge and
findings will address a specific audience. aa The researcher’s ability
to gather and locate the needed resources for advancement in
the project selection will be deploying these steps three (3) with
supportive sub steps as identified. aa Therefore, the noted abilities
of the researcher – this selection process to review should be
oriented to concepts by clearly defining and establishing a
central focus for the project selection regarding course of action.
