COM 232 2-1 Discussion Junk Mail
This Home Depot ad arrived in my email. I frequently visit them since I frequently shop there.
Even when it is spam or trash mail. I seem to be one of those individuals that enjoys receiving
junk mail. Most of them I simply delete, but occasionally I can utilize them. The commercial is
simple. The predominant backdrop color is white, with some flooring-like elements and, of
course, the Home Depot Orange shade. The fonts are simple but strong, and they come in
numerous different hues. While basic, it is distinctive. The particular purchase does catch your
eye. The advertisement also appeals to me because the model is carrying a tablet. That catches
your curiosity.
I wouldn't make much changes to the background. But, I would alter the typeface. To make some
of them stand out more, I would change the text size on some of them. The man pulling the
wheelbarrow is depicted in the tablet's top image. I would make that image bigger and remove
several of the tiny ones from it. It seems overcrowded. Less is more, and I think in this example
fewer photographs would better serve the advertisement than all the tiny ones together. Other
than that I wouldn’t really change a whole lot. I appreciate you reading, and I look forward to
