When looking into my local DHEC websites on teen pregnancy, I found that
they have taken many steps to help prevent teen pregnancy. We have local
family planning offices that are available to everyone. They offer a variety of
services like STI screenings, instruction to practice abstinence, pregnancy
testing and emergency contraception. Teens can also go to these places to get
education of different birth control methods which are available to start onsite.
With that being said, if they do choose a for of birth control they will give them
supply to last them a year.

The county I chose to cover for this discussion is Walker County, Texas,
where I live. They only had one document that I could find in relation to our
topic of Intervention and Prevention in regards to health on the website in pdf
form. The date of this record is 04/07/2021, and does not appear to have any
updates available. It is refered to as Minimum Standard Health Protocols
(Moorman, 2021).
This document describes the list of protocols for all court proceedings in the
county that are put in place to keep employees and visitors safe and healthy.
Among the protocols listed are encouragement to monitor staff temperatures,
social distancing for everyone, and wearing face coverings. There are also
remote options available for some cases. The document encourages
cleanliness of the building, as well as it's staff (Moorman, 2021).
