According to “Centers for disease Control and Prevention” (CDC), the
southern section of our nation has the highest prevalence for physical
inactivity totaling 27.5% of its population (CDC,2022). This referred
to a lack of healthy physical activity such exercise routines, bike riding
and walking. Midwestern states followed this statistical measure
having the second highest rating for physical inactivity totaling 25.2
of the total population. One well outline strategy used involved
community leaders encouraging school and youth activity programs.
This was considered a comprehensive effort to reduce physical
inactivity (CDC,2022).
