I wouldn’t say my ideas about business law have changed since I
didn’t have much to go off of. This class has definitely helped me to
form a perception, though, and I am glad the course covered topics
that can apply to anyone regardless of their future career field. As
others have mentioned in their posts, the portions of the course that
focused on wills and estate planning were very informative and can
be used by all of us to apply our knowledge for our own personal
lives.
One factor that I was unaware of is that contracts can exist even if
there is nothing in writing. My thought was that if there is no signed
agreement, there is no proof; I’m glad I was properly informed. I feel
as though this will be a subtle reminder to choose my words and
actions even more carefully in my professional life as well as my
personal life, depending on the person I’m interacting with.
