Synopsis of the issue
Because of the COVID-19 epidemic, the US car manufacturing sector has not been
performing well this year. Quantitative data will also be used in my study, but I'll focus on using
it more because it's statistical and can be assessed using numbers and values. I'll use market
research reports, journals, and surveys as some instances of both qualitative as well as
quantitative statistics.
Description of the Current U.S. Automotive Industry
In terms of revenue, the U.S. market for cars and automobiles manufacturing will be
$69.0 billion in 2020. The industry is steadily contracting as compared to prior years (2019 $99.0
billion, 2018 $108.0 billion, and 2017 $126.8 billion). While domestic demand for new
automobiles continues to rise, there are three automotive hub locations in the United States that
are anticipated to concentrate more over the next few years. With 36.2% of all sites in 2020, the
Great Lakes area has the highest concentration of enterprises. The headquarters of several of the
main industry players, including General Motors Corporation (GM), Ford Motor Company
(Ford), and Fiat Chrysler Automobiles NV, are all in Michigan, which generates 15.2% of the
sector's total income. The following automobile The Western Area will house 25.4% of industrial
firms in 2020, making it the center. The latest vehicle center, which will make up 24.6% of all
