Trinity Industries came into existence in 1958 when Trinity Steel and Dallas Tank
merged together. The first CEO of the company was W Ray Wallace. Initially, the business
was a struggling propane tank producer, but it gradually transformed into a successful
business that diversified its services and products into other sectors like construction, energy,
industrial and transportation. The business was mainly involved in manufacturing freight as
well as tank rail cars, transportation of tank barges, pressurized or liquified commodities,
