I would that life insurance would be make more sense for a company.
It is the least expensive and most effective cost. With having to pay
for the health insurance it could be extremely pricing especially when
the company pays the higher portion of the premiums which allows
less of the expense to fall on the employee. The monthly amount
could also increase given the age of who is being covered and if there
are any health concerns. Where as life insurance is something that
the employee pays into over the years of employment (depending on
the companies policy) and therefore would not be as big of a hit as
paying health insurance on a monthly/weekly basis. A pension
amount is something that the company has control of and knows
what has been set aside for employees and how much the company
has in that account. Whereas for the insurances it can vary from case
to case.
