Essay Question 1 for Essay: Healthy Ministry Perspective Assignment
In your opinion, describe what is a healthy student ministry? Include both structure,
characteristics, and priorities of ministry. What does it look like?
Essay Question 2 for Essay: Church and Family Assignment
Chapter 3, Student Work Text speaks of the need for student ministries to be family
friendly and church connected. Make sure to be familiar with the suggested action
steps how a student ministry can be both family friendly and church connected listed in
Work Text before attempting this essay. Once you are familiar with the action steps,
select either family friendly or church connected and provide your own suggestions how
a student ministry could help fulfill your choice of being more family friendly or more
church connected.
Essay Question 3 for Essay: Team Levels Assignment
Chapter 6, the Student Work Text speaks of the Five Levels of TEAM (where adults
engage with students in church). Of the Five Levels (social, supply, supplication,
support, and shepherd), is there 1 you are currently doing and/or would like to do?
Once you identify 1 of the Five Levels, write which one you identify with and provide
suggestions how you have done, are currently doing, or could do to fulfill this role in the
lives of adolescents.
