Unchanged
This isn’t fair! How could this happen? I blame myself. I remember thinking, this is all
my fault. I want to be mad at him but my heart won’t allow it. Instead, I’ve just been sitting here
in my room with a million thoughts racing through my mind so fast, it’s hard to focus. The
season of fall now reminds me of the fall you’re taking.
If I were there for you, I could have somehow stopped you from making the biggest
mistake of your life. No one can convince me otherwise. Everyone says for me to not blame

existence.
I will love you endlessly, just the same as I’ll always be here for you. Memories will fade
as time goes by but they will never wash away. The memory of you is permanently stained in my
mind. The regret I must live with, like it or not, I will blame myself for the decisions you have

made. There’s no way to tell if I could have made a difference or not, and that right there will
forever keep this regret of mine alive.
The only thing that remains the same is the love I have for you. It will stay unchanged.
As for anything and everything else, nothing will ever be the same again without you.
