Abstract
This paper will discuss and explain a biblical concept of abortion including the
consequences of such actions. It will address the historical movements of abortion in the United
States of America, addressing concepts of eugenics and political considerations. It will then
address the biblical view of life and the ethical considerations of abortion from a biblical
framework. Finally, this paper will note the effects of abortion from familial, psychological, and
economic considerations on the individuals directly involved and on society at large.
