How has your view of theology changed over the past 8 modules/weeks?
My view of theology has changed to a certain degree after completing this course. I
would say that the biggest change in my view of theology has happened over the last year a half
since I started attending Liberty. I grew up attending church, so I already have a decent amount
of know knowledge, but this course has really helped my grow my educational perspective of
theology. When I found out that I had to take this course I was very uninterested, but now I enjoy
learning more about the Bible and the great theologians that played a part in history. This class
has covered numerous topics that have given me a better understanding of the Christian faith, the
Bible, and Jesus Christ. Growing up around church has given me an easier route to
understanding and believing in God, and his creations. I think this course helped me develop
better answers to give to people when they ask why I believe in God and his ever-lasting life.
This theology course has really struck an interest in me about God and his nature, and I hope to
continue growing in my walk with God.
How have you been able to put the principles you learned from the course into practice?
Before this course began I had the mindset of trying to apply the biblical lessons I learn
to real life. For the most part, I have succeeded. A lot of what I learned throughout this course
has to do with helping me explain my faith to non-believers. I believe that this course has
equipped me with plenty of good answers and resources to be able to answer questions thrown
my way. Applying the principles, I’ve learned in this course to my everyday life has helped me
make strides in living a more Christian life. I wouldn’t say that before this I was not a Christian,
but there is always room for growth. With a better understand of theology and the Bible as a
whole I am able to put together stronger arguments that dispute theories that try to diminish the
nature of God, and the deity of Jesus Christ. Now that I have a better understanding I’ve realized

how often principles like this apply to my everyday life. I have noticed now that I am much more
willing to have these types of conversations with people and give some relevant input. Not
having answers for non-believers is a very discouraging thing. I’m not saying this course has
taught me everything I need to know, but I has helped me develop a strong basis of where to
begin. Now that I have completed this course I look forward to continuing my education in
theology and continuing to build upon my relationship with God.
