Prior = a statement based on assumptions without having given adequate demonstrations.
Epistemology = the study of how people gain knowledge (know things with certainty).
General Revelation = God speaks to all people in all places at all times in a similar way.
Natural Theology = Construct everything you need to know about God apart
from scriptures.
Thomas Aquinas = his proofs of God’s existence (Cosmological, Teleological,
Anthropological).
John Calvin = God has given objective revelation via nature (history, sin makes
things blurry, must put on “spectacles of faith”).
Karth Barth = God is to infinite/perfect for us to know Him without special revelation.
Pluralism = Everybody is right no matter what they believe.
Inclusivism = Everyone will come to God through Jesus Christ at some time in their life.
Exclusivism = Believe x, or else you are wrong.
Restrictivist View = Salvation is restricted to those who heard the gospel and accepted it.
Universal Opportunity View = Personal Salvation History if the person wants it.
Postmortem Evangelism View = People are given a chance to accept/reject Christ
after death.
Special Revelation = God revealing Himself to people.

Degree = Parts of the Bible are more inspired than others.
Partial = Only some parts of the Bible are inspired.
Intuition Natural = God gifted certain people in general and some of them
wrote scriptures.
Illumination / Mystical = God heightened the normal powers of the writers.
Neo- Orthodox = the Bible becomes the Word of God when we encounter God
personally in it.
Inspiration verbal = The words themselves are inspired
Plenary = All of the words are inspired.
Confluence = Divine and human activity, mysteriously yet wonderfully.
Inerrancy = without error.

Amon = reliable, verifiable

Tsadele = Righteous
Syllogism of Inerrancy = Bible is the Inspired word of God, God cannot lie, God’s
word is completely true.
