Biblical Worldview Essay
Introduction
This essay should be 1000-1200 words in length [3-4pgs], not including your name,
course and section number, essay title, footnotes, and bibliography. You must follow this
template exactly, including the section headings. In your introduction, start with a couple of
sentences that introduce the topic. You do not have to give too much detailed information; save
that for the body of your paper. Make these sentences as interesting as you can. Through them,
you can hook a reader and get them very interested in the line of thinking you are going to
develop in your essay.
Creation and Continuing Involvement
The body paragraph should be the first section of this paper. The first part of the body
should discuss the belief that (1) God initially created and (2) is still actively involved with His
creation. The doctrine of these beliefs must be clearly and theologically explained. Make sure to
use at least 2 (two) biblical references and 2 (two) theological sources in this paper. Your
Erickson text cannot count as one of your theological sources. Scripture must be used
appropriately and not used out of context.
Vocation/Job
The second part of the body paragraph must discuss the following: Explain how these
beliefs affect our outlook on a specific vocation/job and affect the way we interact with people
within the chosen vocation/job. Keep in mind that the word belief in this assignment is
essentially synonymous with the word doctrine. In this paragraph, a specific vocation must be
identified and the practical ramifications of how the above doctrines affect our outlook and the
way we interact with people must be clearly explained. If you do not have a specific vocation

chosen already chosen, it would be wise to select the chosen vocation that you intend to have
upon graduation.
Conclusion
Conclusions restate what you have been discussing in your paper. After moving from
general to specific information in the introduction and body paragraphs, your conclusion should
begin pulling back into more general information that restates the main points of your paper. Be
sure to review the Biblical Worldview Rubric for details on how this assignment will be graded.
