Introduction
The beginning of Creation starts with the formation of all things
and ends with a renewal of all that is on Earth. The
metanarrative (also known as the grand story), ties back into
this structure and builds for us the understanding of our good
God. The four major plots to look towards in this showcase of a
story, is creation, fall, redemption and restoration. So much of
the Lord’s love is displayed through this narrative and is
brought to us in a way that is purely understood through the
correct theological view. As said before, when we look into
creation, we see the evident love of God. It is shown so
incredibly how

.desperately in pursuit of us
Biblical Metanarrative
The overall main character of this metanarrative, is the powerful
character of God. In reality, He is not only a character but a true
savior with a passion for His creation. Over the course of 66
books, we see a beautiful story told by many different people.
All of which are known by the Lord and give personal accounts
of his grace. Through these writings, we are able to be witness
towards the illumination of the
personal intentions of our savior. The bible ultimately reveals a
story of a King of all kings, coming down from glory to be a
sacrifice fro his people. You see, these people (you and me),
gave into sin, making us unworthy of eternal life. But God, being
so full of love, sent his only son to die on a cross as an
atonement for our sins. So many of the scriptures give us full
detail into God’s character “we see from the initial fall of
humanity in Genesis 3 that God has pursued a renewed
relationship with humanity” (Etzel, 2017, p. 18). His pursuit is
the reason why you and I are able to live the life we live today!
The Biblical Metanarrative truly tells us the story of a heroic
God, that allowed or his one and only son to be a sacrifice for
his creation. God’s heart is so for us and is so dignified through
his creation of all things. John 3:16 is the perfect way for the
scriptures to explain this whole definition. It reads “For God so
loved the world that he gave His one and only Son, that
whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life”
(NIV). In short, the Biblical Metanarrative is the crazy, good
news of

The Beautiful Love of God
In the book of 1 John, we are given a prime understanding of the
holy love of God. In chapter 4, verse 16 it states: “So we have
come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is
love,
and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in
him.” So often I believe that Christians and those of the world
can mistake the fact that God is purely full of love, by having a
skewed mindset towards his discipline. In reality, the Lord is the
definition of love, the literal creator. Thankfully, there is nothing
we need to do to obtain His love, however, our understanding
and appreciation grows as we pursue Him more. His word is the
perfect place to learn about more His character. Love cannot be
what we know without first knowing the Lord. Through the four
major plot movements, we can examine the clear idea of His
present character. Creation points toward the incredible chase
towards us being created. The fall shows us His unfailing love
and pursuit of forgiveness. Through redemption, we know that
sin has no hold on us because of the sacrifice Christ gave on the
cross. Lastly, we see that restoration brings full light to the
Lord’s care as He prepares our place of eternity. Reflecting on
the greatness of His glory and recognizing His pure love is so
important towards the complete transformation that
.this relationship can bring
Creation
Through the understanding of creation, we get an epic
glimpse into the incredible plans of God. He has such a
Devine purpose for
each and every creation, making His
character even kinder. Etzel
quoted “God has revealed something of himself through what
he has
created, and his creation points to him”. This allows for
us to learn so

h scenery, his deep love runs through
every aspect of those places.
Creation allows for us find appreciation and understanding
that He is
beautiful and so thoughtful. Easily, the Lord could
have made a slab of a planet with no beauty. Yet, He cared
enough to give us a piece of Him in every place we go. The
animals, nature and all people are truly a gift from God. Yet
again, we are pointed towards the plan and major points to
which the Lord intended through what He created. Creation, fall,
redemption and restoration are tied through each and every
day we live. So much power is brought into the mere design
of humans and all
around us. Together with all we know, we
see this one thing; God has
created a plan to which gives glory
and will restore us to hope. Every single person has a unique
and special plan to His story and will eventually see one day
the reign and glory to which God deserves. All
that is on the earth and out of it points towards Him, allowing for
us to
.begin to understand Devine power in creation
Conclusion
To conclude, what makes up this Biblical Metanarrative is all that
ties together a seamless story of all that is in His word. We
understand this one, final thing; God is the main character.
Solely, the purpose of
the word of God is to share a beautiful
Gospel that gives lie. The character of God is so well
presented in his word, allowing for his
people to see him
through every small detail. All in all, we understand
.that through Him, we know love and are forever changed by
His glory
