The biblical worldview is based on what God wants us to be rather than what we want. For
example, I would like to have enough money to provide everything for my children, but God
wants me to be content and try to provide them with love and care, which is what they truly
require to be happy. 1Timothy 6: 7-8 reads, "Because we brought nothing into the world and can
take nothing away from it." But we will be content if we have food and clothing." We often
worry about material things, but we come into the world with nothing; this is a sign that God
provides us with what we genuinely require in due time. Knowing that the rest will come in due
course, it is better to give what we can in terms of love, respect, and protection.
I've known God, obedience, trust, and his mandates since I was a child. I've always known that
we shouldn't lie and that betrayal can impact the other person, no matter how minor or
insignificant. But sometimes we don't say things because we don't want to, but because we are
afraid, they will tell us. I realized I wasn't doing anything wrong but was concealing it. My
mother and I have a good relationship, but she always tries to get me to do the right thing and
trust her, but she also won't let me go out to have fun, so I often hide the fact that I went out with
my friends from her. I felt terrible about myself many times, not only because I was betraying
her trust by not telling her where I was, but also because I wanted her to refuse me to go out. My
joy was not complete because I knew I was breaking God's commandment not to lie or deceive.
With the passage of time and the heartbreak of losing my mother's trust, I begged God to forgive
me and take me away from that world that made me happy but also so empty. Galatians 5:16
reads, "So, I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh." We live a
calmer and happier life when we take what is truly correct for us because God has said so.
Because I was uncomfortable with myself, I decided to take my spirit and soul rather than my
desire. My relationship with my mother was more important to me than a simple hobby.
We must recognize that we are not perfect, and we naturally see things that society considers
acceptable but not for God. I could say that before, I was a bit resentful. It took me time to
forgive when I was offended, even when it wasn't me but the people who are important to me,
like my family. It bothered me if someone said something negative about me or someone close
to me, and I couldn't even look at them. As I got closer to God, I realized that I couldn't get upset
about the things that upset other people about me because we don't live in this world to make
everyone happy the way they want. I have always asked God to keep me away from things that
can hurt me emotionally because resentment affects us and prevents us from being happy.
Forgiveness is a healing medicine that frees you from sinful thoughts. Dr. Etzel says in the video,
"we know from Scripture that it talks about God giving us a new heart, new desires, and new
loves." If we ask God to renew our hearts and forgive us with sincerity and purity, he will do so.
Dr. God Declares, "Judge not, and you will not be judged", If you do not condemn, you will not
be condemned. "If you forgive, you will be forgiven."
