First of all, I would like to thank you for sharing these articles. They have provided
another perspective I had not considered. With that said, I believe it would greatly
benefit both of us if we worked together on a future endeavor.
The article you brought up concerning employees that felt a stronger corporate
culture was indicative to job productivity. Throughout my research, I found that
workplace friendship had a higher ranking than how a person felt about a
company, but I realize that it is only one of the major variables that influence
productivity.
This brings up an interesting point in furthering studies in regard to corporate
culture. Coupled with the difference between the western and eastern cultures, I
believe this would complement your findings within the framework of workplace
friendships and job productivity, and overall satisfaction.
I believe that Badri’s (2021) study facilitated workplace friendships through the
human resource department works hand in hand with the study by Farhani (2019).
Not only is it indicative to keep employees close to corporate culture, it shows
that workplace friendships are also extremely beneficial to companies. Badri’s
(2021) study revealed that gratitude for friendships among Millennials benefited
the company by opening up dialogues that would never have occurred if the
friendship among employees and their superiors weren’t on more comfortable
terms.
There are still more variables to be explored within workplace friendships and the
benefits they can provide any company. If you have any further questions, please
do not hesitate to contact me via email. I look forward to hearing from you.
