Academic Question:
In order to prepare a client for successful post-counseling there are some vital steps that
must be taken, especially when the client has been attending counseling for a short period of
time. In most cases, good and effective counseling should be temporary, and if the counseling is
going on for years and years, the identified problem is never solved. (Pisher, 2020). In addition,
in order for counseling to be effective the type of treatment is also important for each client.
Domajm explains why different treatments can be successful for clients and that there are
different outcomes following the treatment. The first thing that Domjam , 2014, explains about
the source of treatment is that the treatment needs to be similar to the environment of the client.
For example, if a client wants to change their behavior due to extreme driving anxiety, then the
environment which in this case is driving needs to be included in the session. In other words, to
ensure that your client feels safe in a car, the session could be held in the car. This way being in
the car will, with time, be less triggering for the client. According to Domjam, 2014, another
effective way is to conduct the treatment in new settings. In addition, the treatment should be
conducted in many different safe places. For example, if working with a child with the main goal
of reducing their environmental stimulation, one would not want to be cooped up in an office.
Instead, one could change their environment and this would help the child be more relaxed and
feel safe. In addition, once the client feels safe, he or she is more likely to open up and will be
able to receive the treatment they need.

Biblical Question:
All throughout the Bible, God has used many people, animals, and nature to express his
love, anger, and power. According to Domajm, 2014, reinforcement refers to increasing a certain
and wanted behavior and punishment means to decrease a certain behavior. In addition, no matter
positive or negative reinforcements will increase the chance of behavioral response In the Bible,
God has used people and many more to show reinforcement An example from the Bible that
shows using reinforcement to change a certain behavior, in the book of Exodus God uses a man
named Moses. Moses gave the People manna from heaven to represent encouragement. In other
words, Moses provides reinforcement, manna, which encourages the People to have good
conduct. In this case, the reinforcement shows that whether positive or negative stimuli can be
used to ultimately change a behavior, and this in case it promotes obedience. From a personal
standpoint, God has used reinforcement in my life. Four years ago, I lost my mother, and it was a
hard thing to through, however, I found peace and comfort in Him. While I was going through
this one scripture that stuck out to me and that helped me was, “ Peace I leave with you;=my
peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you.=Let not your hearts be troubled,
neither=let them be afraid”. (John 14:27, ESV).
