Target Behavior
The experiment checked and quantified participants' daily water intake increases. The
amount of water ingested from “food consumed daily from food, plain drinking water, and other
beverages.” (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [CDC], 2022). Plain drinking water and
other beverages refers to the water consumed from food, plain drinking water, and other
beverages. This study aims to increase water intake to sixty-six fluid ounces every day. It is
equivalent to drinking four 16-ounce bottles of water during the day, even consumed repeatedly
throughout the day. This experiment occurred over seven days, from November 11 to November
18. During this time, water consumption was checked and recorded every hour, from 9:30 a.m. to
9:30 p.m. Participants kept track of how much water they drank each day on a chart to make the
experiment more effective. They reported any changes in their hydration level, such as feeling
thirstier, to the target behavior. The experiment checked and quantified participants' daily water
intake increases. The average amount of water that the food e-research team drinks every day.
The team measured how much water the participants drank more accurately by measuring their
urine output.
Experiment Narrative
The researchers used structured observation to collect data for this study. The software on
the participants' smartphones tracked how much water they consumed throughout the day. Every
hour, the software tracked the amount of water they consumed and reminded them to drink more
if they fell behind. The app installed on the phone sends reminders to the participants to drink
water every 30 minutes. After the study ended, we analyzed the findings with a line graph. The
graph showed that participants consumed more water after the app's introduction, showing the
effectiveness of reminders and tracking features. The data visualization showed a significant

increase in water consumption after installing the app. The app's success in reminding people to
drink more water was the cause of the increase.
Results
Participants in this trial must drink four 16-ounce bottles of water daily. Check the water
levels daily to ensure they are where they need to be. Every participant in the study recorded how
much water they consumed every hour between 9:30 in the morning and 9:30 in the evening.
This requirement is necessary to ensure that the participants in the trial get adequate hydration,
which is vital for the study to be correct and effective.

Summary
The subjects barely consumed any water during the baseline phase. The participant did
not drink the recommended amount of daily water, sixty-six ounces. The participant said a busy
work schedule and tasks were the main reasons they could not drink the recommended amount of
water each day. The participant achieved the aim impressively; this is an accomplishment. The
participants were ahead of their homework on one of the seven days we saw, so we collected data
that day. Participants must develop a timetable to change their homework schedule to meet the
suggested water intake target each day. If people want to drink enough water to meet their daily

needs, they need to know how water they should drink. They must drink the recommended
amount of water daily to keep proper hydration. To ensure proper hydration, participants must be
available for water breaks in their daily schedules to meet their water intake targets.
