PSYCHOLOGY
Part A: The Big 5 Personality Test
When filing out the big five personality test, there are some areas that I felt I gave the
accurate answers due to several reasons. First, I am an evolving person. There are some things I
did in the past that I am trying to change. Secondly, I found some of the questions to be
somewhat confusing hence I did not know what answer to give. The accuracy of how my
personality is seen may affect my confidence in certain matters if I focus on the negative side.
The five factors used in the assessment can be used in my career assessment to determine
how my behavior in the field of work. Factors such as openness, conscientiousness and
agreeableness can be combined to ensure job success and satisfaction (Satow, 2021). High scores
of openness indicate creativity hence one is able to come up with new ideas that can assist in the
success of the business. Reliable and well organized people also tend to finish their tasks on
time. Lastly, agreeable people are courteous and are in a position to be good team players
(Schermer, Bratko, & Bojić, 2020).
Some words that can be added to the personality tests include: do you enjoy wild flights,
do you enjoy hearing new ideas , do you enjoy thinking about things, altruism and showing
affection, not afraid of risk and do you thrive around people, self-discipline and goals-oriented,
vulnerability levels and guilt-prone traits.
Factors Traits
Openness Reading new things,
Conscientiousness Self-discipline, goal-oriented
Extraversion Flexible, risk taker, thrive around people
Agreeableness Altruism and affectionate

Neuroticism Vulnerable, guilt-prone
The aspect of being wild did not fit into any category. A wild person may be considered
open minded as they enjoy wild flights and ideas while at the same time, being wild can be
considered as an aspect of extraversion. The id, ego and superego model compresses the human
traits into three categories (Sayers, 2020). I think I prefer the big five model as it has many
aspects hence gives one a chance to relate their personalities to the five factors.
Part B: Kaufman’s 10 Characteristics
According to Harvey (2018), Kaufman came up with 10 characteristics that are used in
self-actualization. I have a high rate of continued freshness of appreciation. Every time I visit a
place for the second time, or third time, I find something appealing about the place. My score in
peak experiences is high as I love travelling and going to parties. Thirdly, my score in acceptance
is also high as I accept all my faults and weakness and try to work on them. Authenticity is also
one key element in my life. On both good and bad days, I stay positive in everything I do. I have
high equanimity as I tend to remain calm even in situations where I am provoked. In the aspect
of purpose, my score is high as I am goal oriented and accomplish what is set my mind to do. I
have low efficient perception of reality as I tend to judge people wrongly as I always take their
world even without spending time with them to know their true nature. I am a member of various
charity organizations hence, my humanitarianism is high. I have a high good moral intuition. I
can tell when have done something bad. Lastly, my creativity is high as I easily come up with
new ideas.

PSYCHOLOGY
I am very good at mastering and giving directions as I enjoy travelling and I have
continued freshness of appreciation. I accept all my flaws and hence I tend to act genuinely. I
attract great friends who are also genuine. My friendships hence last for a long time.
Part 3: obedience to Authority
As I watched the film, the outstanding points I encountered are: representation, closeness
to authority figure and assignment of responsibility. These points made me realize how
obedience can be tailored to suit the government. When people feel that they are represented in
any authority, they feel their needs will be addressed hence tend to be obedient. Closeness to the
authority figure also increases obedience as the citizens feel the authority figure will listen to
them and address the issues they face. Lastly, when duties are allocated, obedience is cultivated
as people know the responsibilities will be fulfilled ("Milgram experiment," 2012).
According to Dolinski and Grzyb, (2020), through conformity, one is able to influence
the thoughts, behaviors and feelings of others. You could state the benefits of the actions to the
people so as to encourage them to engage in activities that violate their ethical principles.
Accompany the benefits of performing the actions with the consequences of not performing the
task. A real life example of obedience that does not relate to prison is where in the nurse-
physician relationship. Nurses tend to carry out orders from the physicians even when they think
the decision might result into harm. According to Milgram, when a person in authority orders
something the subordinates carry it out (Dolinski & Grzyb, 2020). Hierarchical systems should
learn that subordinates tend to obey orders from above. Leaders should lead their subordinates
into making relatively optimal assessments and decisions and benefits them. Lastly, leaders
should teach those under them the importance of obeying leaders.

Part 4: Reducing Prejudice
There four conditions that if met could reduce prejudice. First, the government should
ensure that both sides have equal legal status, power and economic activities. In the Canadian
case, there are Indian reserves that have inadequate investments. The government should work
towards financing such reserves to give its inhabitants equal opportunities as the other people
(Cullingford, 2018). They should also increase federal investment in aboriginal housing to
improve the quality of housing and reduce overcrowding. Authorities should also provide moral,
economic and legal support for both sides. The legal systems should encourage fairness and
justice for both sides by reducing criminalization of indigenous people. The government should
ensure that all sectors in the nation are ethical and do not encourage discrimination (Cullingford,
2018, p.>xx). Equal employment opportunities should also be presented to all people.
Thirdly, all parties should be given many opportunities to work and socialize together
formally and informally. Socialization opportunities can be increased through religions,
encouraging marriages between the two parties, coming up with a common language and through
social media and other communication media. Work opportunities can be increased through
government funding to both groups. Lastly, cooperation and togetherness is essential in working
together for a common goal. Common goals should be formulated to encourage togetherness.
The goals should be clearly specified and effective communication channels established. The
goals should also be beneficial to both parties hence encourage unity in work ("Reducing
prejudice and discrimination," 2016).
