Abstract
Biblical Worldview, What is it? How does it fit into one’s livelihood? The biblical Worldview
Indicator is a self-awareness quiz on how the world itself relates to one’s perspective when one
has a widened religious view. For educational purposes, it helps guide a student to connect their
educational career to a much greater aspect including Christ himself, and his many scriptures can
help a student who is willowing in despair to come up out of it. Every single individual who has
taken this assignment has had different numbers, different outcomes, or were hoping for a better
outcome. Despite that outcome it is important to also remember that no matter what assessment,
quiz, test, etc. we are all on the same journey at different time points. Christ himself will lead
every single one of us to a greater path. For instance, the second time for myself to take this
assessment has given me lower scores than when I took it in January. From the two times I have
taken it, Ontology (57/43), Cosmology(55/31), Eschatology(45/34), Axiology(52/48),
Praxeology(61/46), and Epistemology(47/35) have all increasingly declined in numbers.
However, that does not make me any less of a person. I just see the world differently compared
to other’s perspectives. I believe that it does indeed match more to my worldview as it would to
each individual here on earth with their mission. My mission may be impacting other’s lives
while making sure my priority is the Lord himself.

There are six constructs of the Biblical Worldview Indicator. The six are Ontology,
Cosmology, Eschatology, Axiology, Praxeology, and Epistemology. The six constructs all shift
to what level of awareness we have of the Bible itself.
Ontology is “concerned with the nature of reality and is typified by the question 'what
is?'” (BWI.com 2021) This area of study is what helps us ask questions or understand more of
what the world around us relates or aligns to. This concept can be used in the study of
psychology and day to day basis when needed. Common situations would be “What is the
meaning of life?”, “What is my purpose here?” BWI impacts this area by assuring the individual
that having an open mind and having a great beyond can give us the satisfaction of life with
fewer worries and more understanding.
Cosmology is what gives us the urge and knowledge to think more outside the box. It
also has a root word at the beginning, “Cosmo” also relates to the universe itself. For instance,
there may be millions of questions, conspiracies, scientific research, etc. concerning how the
world has come to be. What was the reason this earth was made and why was I chosen to live it
out? All these questions and understanding rely back upon cosmology. This impacts how we see
life as it is. It helps psychologists see and understand the troubles some individuals may have.
Eschatology is the belief that we have an end. Where is that end and how are we destined
to choose the right one? It is primarily “concerned with having a belief regarding where the
universe in general, and humanity specifically, are headed.” (BWI.com 2021) This can relate to
psychology by believing that if we keep doing good and devoting our lives to the greater Lord
that all will be worth it if it is meant to be in his company again. Again, it all depends on the
religion or path these individuals are taking. There are no right or wrong beliefs here if we all
mean good by them.

Axiology is the meaning of all the good and bad we are doing and the concerning of it.
What is good and what is evil? Is it a to-do list we have to follow to have validation? “God has
given us a natural law that is "written on our hearts", a "general revelation" of Him and His will.”
(BWI 2021) He gives us the strength to understand society more and more as we progress as a
society. In psychology, we can use this to motivate us to have more good options in life than the
bad ones while giving us a better approach to life’s duties.
Praxeology is what we use to help practice or to help us decide what is good for us and/or
the situations we are facing. In this area of the construct, it guides us to the best options to
choose in our paths. As to why Jesus sacrificed himself, we also sacrifice ourselves with needs
and wants to choose the best outcome. In psychology, it is very important to choose these
outcomes to our best benefit. This is the area where listening and giving advice is most needed.
Epistemology “is similar to Ontology, in that it is concerned with how we know what we
know, and the method we use to obtain further knowledge. We believe that our use of logic and
reason is valid, but how can we prove that logic is objectively valid, meaning that it accurately
reflects objective truth?” (BWI 2021) meaning that it does have a different definition to
Ontology, However, it doesn’t have an actual answer. Epistemology has an order. The order thus
universe has come about and the belief and reasoning behind the logic. Is it something we all
need to believe and follow? Is it something that is made up? There isn’t a definite answer and
only the greater beyond can know this. Psychology plays a role in this which is to assure that this
individual becomes self-aware of themselves and the life that is being created around them while
following the right order. Keeping the mind clear and open to these endless possibilities that are
right in front of them.

The six constructs as written are each a necessity and important information to know
while teaching and being the learner of any education area but most importantly for feeding the
mind. We are shepherds of the Lord and serve as many blessings as needed to impact other’s
lives. It is my mission to spread a positive and loving message.
