Evolutionary Psychology
We all have our on perspective on what we think is reality and what is our truth. And this
is our worldview. I was raised in a small town in Tennessee and I believe that my worldview in
some ways can relate to a Christian worldview. I personally enjoy helping people when I am able
to and doing good things and not expecting anything in return. My worldview is associated with
religion. So, yes, I believe in God, and yes, I believe in Satan, just as I believe in good and evil.
We see things differently because there are some who don’t believe in neither God or Satan, and
that’s their choice that’s why they say our worldview is like looking through a lens, a special lens
that will fit our since of identity. I live my life by trying to do the right thing and treating people
how they treat me. It can be hard at times to turn the other cheek, but I manage because the Lord
would want me to. Because I have a Biblical worldview I believe in everything that my Bible
tells me, believe that God created man, woman, and everything that we take advantage of here on
this earth in a matter of six days. “Someone adhered to a biblical worldview believes that God
created the world and the order by which it operates, and He has revealed truth through His word
and His works. Holding a Biblical worldview states that God reveals truth to us and we need to
seek Him in the Bible and in His creation for it” (George et. Al, 2020) Everyone has their own
beliefs and I respect that though I do at times try and persuade people who don’t see things my
way to have an open mind and listen to what the Word says. There are strengths and weakness in
evolutionary psychology, and those weaknesses is that it is unable to be proven “Some strengths
of evolutionary psychology are that it can provide far better understanding of people than many
other approaches, and that it can connect this understanding with that of other animals. For

example, evolutionary psychology can show how humans fight over who mates with each other,
tying this into how bonobos relate. Weaknesses involve the difficulty in supporting some
arguments, because evolution occurs over very long periods that make evidence difficult to
assess. Also, because evolution runs contrary to certain human traditions, it can face difficulties
