in Genesis 1 and 2, prevalent throughout redemptive history, and a healthy
and necessary lens through which we should view ourselves, in order to
understand ourselves as sexual beings we must first view ourselves
through the lens of our identity in Christ.
E. We must view sex and sexuality through the lens of our identity in Christ, not
our identity through the lens of sex and sexuality.
1. We do this by understanding God’s design for sexuality, the fall and how it
corrupted that design, and how we find our way back to God’s design and
live that out in a righteous manner.
