Growth and experience for me through the integration of scientific
knowledge and sacred knowledge varies on the collaboration of the
integration. I need to examine whether they are aligned with an
understanding to bring expertise or discovery and whether they contradict
each other to bring confusion. Furthermore, I cannot fully agree with
integration that includes none of the other knowledge that will or does not
lead to the truth about God, who is the creator of all things. Furthermore,
the knowledge must not deviate from the Bible and its validity, and if it
does, I will turn away from it entirely. In Romans 11:29 (KJV), God gave us
all gifts, and his gifts and calling are irrevocable. The gift of knowledge
and wisdom has caused a lot of confusion among believers and non-
believers.
Additionally, I am a believer that psychologists and scientists having the
gift of knowledge and wisdom. Proverbs 14:12 (NKJV) states, "There is a
way that seems right to a man, but its end is the way of death." Man looks
at their way as being right; however, it could lead to various
consequences for their actions. As Entwistle (2015) states, "Christian is
much more than theology; it is an encounter with Christ that redeems and
reorients human lives" (pg. 3). Christians' experience with Christ should
include encounters with the Savior; therefore, they should seek him if one
has not had an encounter. Thus, morally and knowledge is not enough for
Christians to understand the knowledge of Christ.
The early stage of learning the Bible included listening to the pastor of
leaders when talking about the knowledge within the Bible. My Biblical
background as a child was to hear the word and not seek a personal
encounter with Christ to understand myself. However, as I grew and
moved on from various churches, I landed in a church that teaches and
develops to include seeking the face of God for my own beliefs, which
allowed me to grow and have a personal relationship with God.
