The Last Things: Millennial Views

Abstract
There are three main views when it comes to the millennium kingdom. These views are
amillennialism, postmillennialism, and premillennialism. Amillennialism is the belief that there
is no future millennium to come. Postmillennialism is the belief the millennial kingdom occurs
between the first coming of Jesus Christ and the second coming of Jesus Christ, but it is the
church who brings about change to the earth before the coming of Christ. Premillennialism is
the belief that Christ’s second coming will occur prior to His millennial kingdom, and that the
millennial kingdom is a literal 1000-year reign of Christ on earth. Research was conducted about
each of these views and why or why not they are valid based on what the Bible foretold how
future events would transpire. Also discussed were the theological implications in pastoral
