Greetings Larson,
I am pleased to have watched your discussion post narrated through an audible and clear
voice. Points captured on diabetes mellitus type two depict a depth understanding of the concept,
and hence I agree. The epidemiology of the disorder appears interesting, and one should correlate
with it in a quest to understand the impending danger in society. Accordingly, 6.28 % of the
global population is cited as having been suffering from diabetes at present (Plows et al., 2018).
Most of the victims were diagnosed in 2017, and the world health organization should react to
the alarming numbers. Understanding that the condition is a chronic ailment, a permanent cure
should be prioritized (Plows et al., 2018). Based on the current timeline, mobilizing the experts
towards the menace will create an emergency atmosphere allowing more stakeholders and
partisans to share their ideas on the possible permanent cure of the condition. A prevalence rate
of 7000 individuals in each 100,000 cohort indicates that the world will need to do something
about the chronic condition.
Response Two
Hello Godwin,5
You have written a nice post; the content, flow of ideas, and overall design and
arrangements are appealing, so I agree with your viewpoint. The discussion has covered Cushing
syndrome when the body has excess Cortisol hormone with time. Some of the condition's
complications include bone loss, high blood pressure, and decreased muscle mass and strength.
In the discourse, the epidemiology of the condition suggests that the ailment is not serious and
cannot be treated as a threat to the female gender (Stratakis, 2018). Having six to seven
3
individuals affected per one million citizens suggest that the ailment can be contained with
intensified research. Overall the case study was insightful, and it will be critical if additional
information is made on some of the minor ailments that can be confused or correlated with
Cushing's Syndrome.
