The week eight video presentation by Dr. Curry brings us the perspective of how we
should look to the future of national security. This video covers three general aspects that
we should take into consideration regarding national security. The return of history after
9/11, and against all predictions of the post-Cold War era. As well as the 21st-century
challenges we are currently facing, to mention some examples, as malicious technology,
weapons of mass destruction, and non-state actors. Lastly, the endogenous to national
security that is currently affecting national security.

justice. Providence. https://providencemag.com/2016/08/robust-nuclear-deterrent-force-
peace-justice/
Rebeccah Heinrichs covers in this article the importance of nuclear power as a force for
peace and justice. To justify this, view the reference of every government is being
brought up, which is to protect their people, to seek justice as an institute by God. One of
the reasons for the U.S (United States). to pose nuclear weapons is morally justified and
established that will be immoral and inimical to the principles of Christian just war to
adopt any disarmament agenda.

I start reflecting on different Bible verses, and I cannot stop thinking about the
responsibility we have as Christians, as well in my case as a service member. To provide

shelter and security not only for my family but for those around me. The governments
have a responsibility to provide security for their citizens to the extent of their
capabilities. In the Holy scriptures Psalm 122:7 NIV this Bible verse tells us “May there
be peace within your walls and security within your citadels.” I can understand when
there is peace, we can rest assured no harm will come, and the security of the citadel
becomes a refuge for those who need it.
