Introduction
When you think of Paul and all you have read about him in the bible, all that he has wrote and
how much he is still impacting the church of today you can honestly say he was chosen by God.
I will go back and talk about my video I gave about Paul and address what my thoughts are now
that I have studied him in this class. I will talk about four relevant things about Paul: the life of
Paul, The letters from Paul, the theology of Paul, and how Paul is still impacting churches today.
Reassessment of Video From Beginning of Class
As I looked back over my video, I still look at Paul as the superman of the bible. This class
has really put an exclamation point on what I said in my video. Paul is an easy study for me
because I really have been for some years now looking at all he has done for the body of Christ.
His letters are still relevant to the church of the day. Different time but the same scenarios. The
devil has not changed just but a fresh look on his tactics.
Current Perspective on Paul
Life
The life of Paul is an ideal life for us all to look at. Paul was a sinner who met Christ and
became one of the forces od God word in the past life and in this life also. He went from
persecution to inspiring; from destroying to uplifting. Paul the preacher the teacher.
would be able to withstand criticism to what he was saying about Jesus, but in his letters, he was
able to be convincing without criticism. No one saw Paul as a apostle listen Acts never gives a
emphasis but it does not deny it either.i When I look over time I see that Paul letters was
originally penned in Greek because of “His letters, written in vigorous Greek…he
4
cites the Greek Bible but interprets it in the manner of the rabbi—all in
support of his construal of the meaning of Christ.”ii Then as we look back at
the Damascus road experience we see that Paul thought what he was doing
was God will till God asked him in Acts 9,” Why would you persecute me?”iii
At b this point Paul was being turned into the man of God he was chosen to
be. Paul was transformed to lead the Gentiles and all unbelievers of Christ to
him. Dr. Stacy says that “Paul describes his call to take the gospel to the Gentiles as constituents
live with his conversion.”iv
Significance of Paul’s Letters
“Paul theology is Christ own authorized extension of the gospel of salvation for Jews and
Gentiles alike.”v Paul really expressed how the sinners reconnection to God is equal to Jesus
cross experience. Churches of the day try not to even touch on the cross. I believe every time you
stand in front of God’s people you must remind them of the cross because they are the reason we
even are able to live because through Jesus cross experience we can live and stand stronger to
face tomorrow.
Conclusion
Paul is and always be the superman of the bible. His awareness of the bible in the past has made
it relevant for us today.
