Women in Combat
It would be almost impossible to not involve politics when it comes to the issue of
women in the military combat. Left wing political party in the United States of America would
use the famous United States Declaration of Independence statement that says “We hold these
truths to be self -evident, that all men are created equal” and twist it in the way that says that not
allowing women in combat would be a discrimination against women. That is the problem:
politics many times does not look at logic behind the certain things, what politics uses is hysteria
and drama to stir up the uneducated masses to protest for their causes. We see this happening
with many movements nowadays, currently President Trump banned transgender population
from being in combat. Left protesting without understanding that people with psychological
disorders cannot be trusted to be in combat missions. Transgenderism also known as Gender
Dysphoria, is a mental health disorder, people who think they are different gender than they
actually are, that is a mental health issue. Gender Dysphoria, used to be called Gender Identity
Disorder ( GID) till the DSM-5, before DSM-5 it was treated as clinical condition, in current
society it is almost normalized. American Psychiatric Association, Diagnostic and statistical
manual of Mental Disorders (5th ed, 2013). We can all witness the push of the liberals for the
gender- neutrality. The reader may ask how this all relates to women being in the military
combat?
To the author it is all related, all of those issues bring up an important question of when
do we say stop? As parents, if we are good parents, we teach children manners and limits of what
they can and cannot do. God gave us rules and laws so we do not have to go to far but go to the
Bible and see that all the above mentioned issues are abominations against God. Not only having
a person with Gender- Dysphoria in the military not is a mental health issue, mainly it is an insult
to God, to have the sin that he hates to be glorified and serve in army. In the Deuterenomy 22:5
God said “A woman shall not wear a man’s garment, nor shall a man put on a woman’s cloak, for
whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God”. Gender neutrality issue is
basically saying that God has made a mistake creating male and female, and it is better to have
an androgynous being. All of those things are abominations and God is angry watching his
people allowing those things to be happening in our societies. God is allowing all of this as it is
clearly stated in Romans 1:24-32, however, the fact is God is angry and would not let this be
unpunished.
Some would argue saying that there were women in the Bible who were in combat-
Deborah, and in Medieval France we had Joan of Arc. But those were rare exceptions of women
who were called by God to perform a specific divine mission. Joan of Arc had to dress up as a
male, she was not suffering from gender dysphoria it was a survival strategy as no men at that
time would let a woman lead them in combat. I am not going to make theories of why God chose
those women, as Lord declared to prophet Isaiah in Isaiah 55:8 “For my thoughts are not your
thoughts, neither are your ways my ways”.
In Israel, a small country in the middle East surrounded by its enemies, most
everyone serves in the military. Orthodox Jews don’t serve in the military, as that is against their
teachings and women who are married after high school do not serve in the military as well. All
very clear stated in the law and leftist groups in Israel have hard time changing those rules as
Israel is extremely connected to Mosaic Law and Talmudic teachings and going against God
would create riots that no left group wants to deal with. Only recently women in Israel started to
serve in combat, and it creates serious consequences, that Israel intelligence are considering now.
Israel is a small country and it allowed women only because of the constant dangers of war it
faces from all sides. United States has a different reasoning, here it is political, in Israel it is a
matter of survival of the country surrounded by enemies. Yet Israel sees the consequences of
women in combat and is thinking of solutions of stopping it. Idalia Dlugosz, Mothers or

“God created man first in order to say that man bears a primary burden for protection,
provision, leadership” John Piper, Co-Ed Combat and Cultural Cowardice, (2007).
Unfortunately, with gender neutrality and other insanity we witness in current culture, we also
witness increase in emasculation of males. When this happens, result of women in combat does
not shock nor anger people in current society. Our generation does not view things as God
created them to be for men to lead and for women to submit. Not only women in combat is
unbiblical, it is also not logical. As women , we go through PMS, menstrual cycle, and having a
women in life- threatening combat situation while they go through their menstrual cycles is not
safe. PMS affects women moods, and having unstable moods while there is a life and death
situation it is not safe . For the same reason a person with gender dysphoria cannot serve in
combat, those people have serious mental health issues and cannot be trusted in combat. It is not
discrimination, when it comes to combat and protecting the country we cannot take risks to take
people with mental disorders or physical handicaps and conditions to compromise the success of
the mission.
Justice Bradley of the United States Supreme Court made the following comment “It is
true that many women are unmarried and not affected by any of the duties, complications, and
incapacities arising out of married state, but these are exceptions to the general rule. The
paramount destiny and mission of woman are to fulfil the noble and benign offices of wife and
mother. This is the law of the Creator. And the rules of civil society must be adapted to the
general constitution of things and cannot be based upon exceptional cases “ Titus, God Man and
Law 117, 1994.
