Before I discuss theory in the war I would like to explain the meaning of theory to understand
why theory is important in any aspect of life whether it's peace or war. Theory is based on the
body of the facts that have been confirmed and tested through experimentation and
observations. Wars are very complex and effective events which have an impact on the

country's economy, security, border’s protection and the security and safety of the citizens.
Theory plays a major role in wars because it provides a systematic framework. Theory is war
situations provide clear guidelines and knowledge to evaluate the situation, assess the threats,
manage the resources, and create policies and war
Liberalism is the theory which focuses on economic interdependence, international institutions
and a strong democratic stability which can help states manage their security by promoting
cooperation law – known as the laws of war – establishes what can and cannot be done by
parties to an armed conflict. These laws seek to minimize human suffering and protect civilians
as well as combatants who are no longer taking part in hostilities, such as prisoners of war. The
main treaties of international humanitarian law are the 1949 Geneva Conventions, adopted
after the horrors of World War Two, and their additional Protocols” (Amnesty International,
2024). There are always human rights violations during the of war. There are several insurgents
group in different countries and when it comes to those terrorist group or insurgent’s
international law becomes irrelevant and ineffective.
