Topic and Research Question
Topic: There may be a connection between the way students behave in school when religion is
aloud opposed to when it is cast away.
Hypothesis: Through the study of the behaviors of students exposed to religion while in
school versus students who are not exposed we will be able to see the effects on student’s
behaviors.
Research Question: Does having access to religion in school have an effect on student’s
behavior?
Disciplines Incorporated: The two disciplines I will be incorporating are Education and
religion.
Justification: The two disciplines I mentioned will be great help to proving my hypothesis
because they both play a role within it. Education has separated itself from religion to try and
appease people who frown upon it. While examining this we will to research to find how
behavior in schools has been effected after separating the two. Many years ago and still in some
private schools today religion was at the forefront of learning and behavior in the classroom was
not an issue that is it today. So we will examine if separating the two disciplines has had a
positive or negative effect on behavior in the classroom today.
