Both private and public professional sectors have different ways which they
use to govern ethical standards for their employees and workers (Martin, 2018). In
this case, such platforms have unique codes that stipulate the general conducts of
all individuals comprising the organization. The paper seeks to examine ethical
standards in line with human services at the organizational level comparing and
contrasting them with biblical perspectives.
According to the National Organization for Human Services, there exists a
couple of ethics and values which firms ought to follow to promote professional
working environment (Ricks, Carlisle & Snow, 2019). Organizations need to ensure
there are dignity and respect for all emplo yees’ welfare without any form of bias.
Organizations should promote and advocate for social and economic justice for all
human services within and above its scope. It is the mandat e of all firms to follow
values such as genuineness, integrity and honesty while serving their customers.
The above ethical values apply in most of the corporate world to promote effective
and transparency in human services professionals.
There are similarity and slight differences regarding ethical standards on
human services applied by the organizations from the biblical dimension. For
example, both organizations and biblical perspectives perceive the essence of
integrity in social welfare. Titus (2:7), urges individual to show integrity from their
teachings to set an excellent example without condemnation. Another similarity
includes the aspect of justice from both organization and biblical approach
(Bromley et al., 2015). According to Exodus (23:6), nobody should deny justice to
the poor people from the context of law. The biblical scriptures concur with the

value of dignity as an ethical standard by most of the organizations. Exodus (28:2),
reveals the sacred garments made to Aaron to raise his dignity and honor from the
outsiders. Moreover, the biblical teachings acknowledge the value of honesty like
corporate organizations. Proverbs (29:27) depicts that the righteous observe honesty
while the wicked neglect upright codes.
On the other hand, both organizations and biblical viewpoints identify loyalty
as an ethical value in a different approach. For instance, organizations focus on
promoting genuineness while facilitating human services. Malachi (1:14), indicates
that cursed is the cheat who sacrifices the blemished rather than the acceptable
flock. In summary, most organizations conform to ethical standards while
facilitating human services in their jurisdiction. From the biblical approach, values
such as dignity, justice, honesty and integrity comprise fundamental pillars for
ethical standards embraced in the corporate sector.
