Team,
I developed the NGS Curriculum to flow seamlessly, so the content stays aligned
from the Interactive Notebooks all the way through the chapter tests. This
curriculum, while all not digital, works for distance learning since students can work
through units independently if you pace them through each. Check out the following
example in how you might use the NGS curriculum to teach during this time. Please
know, these are only suggestions. You know best what resources your students
have access to.
Lesson option: Assign students notes (that you have edited to be fill-in-the blank)
using the PowerPoints. If students have ability, have them work on the interactive
notebook activities or give them the option of choose one to complete each
chapter. Looking for options to differentiate your notes? Read here.
Lesson option: Share a video of you doing the lab and have students collect data
throughout - then have them complete and write their own conclusions.
Remember, I developed my demos, labs, and science stations keeping in mind that
most materials could be found around the home or at a local grocery store.
Lesson option: Use the science stations as a choice board and have students
complete one or couple each chapter. Tell them, if they choose, for example,
Observation Station and Calculation Station for Plate Tectonics, then they will have
to choose different stations next chapter. developed the NGS Curriculum to flow

of options:
NEW Study Guides which can be printed or can be completed digitally!
Task cards which can be printed or can now be found on BOOM as a digital task card
boom deck. (Physical Science complete - Earth and Life Science will be done by the
end of the week!) What else would help your distance teaching? Just reply and let
me know!!
Don't forget - today is the last day of the Teacher Appreciation Sale so everything
mentioned above is on sale in both my TpT store and my website at
nittygrittyscience.com. Don't forget to use promo code: THANKYOU20
