While we may all be here for different reasons and from many different backgrounds, it is
important for us to realize we are all in this learning journey together. We are a support
system, collaborators, and encouragers for one another as we progress this term. In order
to create that environment this week, let’s introduce ourselves and begin with that in mind.
Introduce yourself to your classmates and be sure to include details about where you live,
and why you are here. Then, let’s take it a step farther and tell us what you think your
leadership strengths are and maybe an area you recognize you can improve on after
looking over the class syllabus.
Hello, my name is Sylvia Sessoms and I am a graduate student here at Liberty University Online.
I currently reside in Suffolk, VA. I am the Administrative Director of Foundation Learning
Center a partner of Little Grove Baptist Church in Suffolk, VA. I have a husband, three children
and a grandchild that I am currently raising as my own. I love children and have a passion for
teaching. I am here at Liberty enrolled in the graduate program to gain more knowledge of the
current atmosphere education. Things have evolved much since I first began a teacher in so as
