DIFFERENTIATED ESEARCH APER SSIGNMENT R P A INSTRUCTIONS
OVERVIEW
Research is a valuable and necessary skill for you in this program. Learning how to navigate and
evaluate articles is important. Understanding the different nuances of specific topics can assist
you in having a full, well-rounded view. After locating and reading articles, the ability to
organize and succinctly articulate a paper is paramount in a graduate program.
This assignment is the culmination of this course that will allow you to ntinue to build on the co
research you have started on the Journal Critiques concerning differentiation. You will utilize
your previous research from the critiques and expand your research to provide a wholistic view
of differentiation. You will need to build on the topics from each of the Journal Critiques:
Rationale for Differentiation, Learning Environment, and Obstacles to Overcome. In addition,
you will need to select at least three additional sections and a Biblical Worldview section to
include in your paper to provide a full, well-rounded understanding of differentiation.
INSTRUCTIONS
Using your research articles from your Journal Critiques, you will write a 8-10 page research
paper focused on differentiation. Your paper must be formatted to current APA standards,
include a title page, abstract, body, and reference pages. Your title page, abstract, and references
pages do not count towards your 8-10 page requirement. You must include at least 7 scholarly
sources (i.e. research articles, books, ebooks) including your textbook and the Bible. You must
cite from all 8 of these sources throughout your paper; however, you any may not use direct
quotes unless from the Bible. Each section should include at least one citation. All sources,
except the Bible, must have been published within the last 5 years.
Paper Components:
1. Title Page
a. Title: The summarizes the paper and its focus. The title must be clear title
enough to give the reader an idea of what to expect in your paper. Avoid
statements that sound vague or flippant.
b. Other Title Page Information:
a. Student Name
b. Institution
2. Abstract
a. The Abstract content is on its own page, following the title page.
b. Write a well-written paragraph (100–120 words).
c. The Abstract is written last. The content is to be a synopsis of the main
findings of your paper. Consider this paragraph an abridged version of your
full paper.
3. Body Paragraphs & Headings
To ensure that your paper meets the requirements of the rubric, the following elements
must be clearly identified with headings.

a. Although not labeled with a heading on your paper, this section will introduce
differentiation and how you will developed this topic throughout the paper.
All paragraphs should be at least 5 sentences.
