The Challenges of Using Differentiated Instruction and How to Overcome It
As more and more specialists have amassed in different fields of study, there has been a shift
toward prioritizing the quality of education above its quantity. In the contemporary period,
technical progress facilitates the acquisition of information (Aldossari, 2018). However, the
education system still faces numerous obstacles due to the vast variety of student characteristics,
interests, and ways of thinking. Teachers need to be prepared to react with a wide range of
strategies to accommodate these variances. Learning the fundamentals of teaching helps propel
the educational process forward and boosts the likelihood of reaching the desired outcomes. By
adapting their practices in light of new findings in brain, multiple intelligence, and structural
theory, students may be able to help build and improve societies more effectively if they get a
good education.3
Summary
The idea of providing students with lessons that are tailored to their individual needs has
recently gained a lot of traction in the world of education. The research outlines the most
significant obstacles that both male and female educators working in general education face
when attempting to use the differentiated instruction technique across a variety of educational
levels. Teachers who diversify their lessons begin to regard themselves less as information
keepers and dispensers and more as partners with students and creators of learning possibilities
(Tomlinson, 2017). A skilled teacher is able to recognize and value the unique variations among
learners and create the ideal learning environment for each one in a manner that supports the

achievement of the intended goals. As a result, having the fundamental teaching abilities
improves the teaching process and increases the attainment of the process' goals.
Analysis
According to the findings, the total degree of difficulty associated with implementing the
differentiated education technique was about that of a medium. The difficulties that are
associated with the students came in first, followed by those that are associated with the
atmosphere of the school, the characteristics of the differentiated instruction, difficulties that are
associated with the instructors, and finally difficulties that are associated with the study
programs. Additionally, schools should have a culture that encourages the use of diversified
instructional methods, and professional development seminars should be provided to teachers so
that they may acquire skills in this area. This variation in teaching approaches necessitates an
understanding of the requirements of the students as well as their chosen modes of academic
development. As a result, differentiated instruction is more than just a collection of teaching
techniques; it is a great manual for learner-centered learning that focuses on adapting the
content (what is taught), the processes (how it is taught), and the outputs (assessment and
instruction)” in order to encourage holistic learner development (Aldossari, 2018).
Personal Application
In my perspective, teachers have been given a variety of responsibilities in order to
properly assist students in learning. The teachers must create lesson plans and teaching methods
that are appropriate for each of their individual students before creating an evaluation and
assessment and locating resources to meet the requirements of those students. When a teacher
has more than 12 students in her class, it might be difficult to watch what is going on. This is a

hurdle that has to be addressed if teachers want to provide their students with greater assistance.
From Romans 8:28 And we know that for those who love God all things work together for
good, for those who are called according to his purpose (English Standard Version Bible, 2001).
Conclusion
In conclusion, the biggest issues raised by the participants concerned the children;
however, issues pertaining to the school setting and the nature of the varied education techniques
scored almost equally. The number of students per classroom was the issue with the highest
average. Differentiated instruction is attainable if the teachers are not crammed with lessons,
activities, assessments, or evaluations to do in a day. Students will be given more opportunity to
learn at their own level of skills and interests if their teachers are given more time to plan a
lesson for them. Therefore, it is essential that teachers are given sufficient resources and time to
work with so that the students can learn at a pace more suitable for them
