I learned how to successfully impplement the I Do, We Do, You do Method. I have already
seen a huge improvement inmy class by giving that that time for "guided practice" before
independent practice.
I also learned new strategies for communicating with parents about literacy. I realized that
communicating with parents about this topic is just as important, if not more, than just
communicating about behavior and conduct.
I now understand the importance of print awareness and how this affects a student's ability
to read, recongize letters, identify sounds, and be fluent in reading. I now feel confident in
aiding student's to improve in Literacy.
