Insight Gained From this Project
What I have gained from this project is how to enforce different genres of literature in my future
room. This project showed me the different varieties of books that can be put in the classroom
that include every students needs. “Race and ethnicity are important aspects of diversity in the
United States.”(Galda,2016). I was able to get a new outlook after working on this project on
what books I could use in the Mirror and Windows selections. This was an amazing to figure out
which books I could add to my classroom. This assignment helped me pick which books I could
add to my classroom. I would want to add books that the children can relate to and realize they
have some of the same issues that the characters discussed in these books.
