Interview Questions: Mrs. Jones a third-grade teacher at C. A. Wise Elementary
1.Besides bad friends and depression, what do you think negatively impacts a child's
academic performance?
Teacher: Outside of negative friends and depression, most kids' academic performance is
influenced by distractions and an inability to focus. As well, negative situations at home can
have a significant impact.
2.What can parents do to improve their children's learning abilities at home?
Teacher: Asking kids about their daily activities in the classroom makes a difference. Show
concern by offering to help them with their homework. It also reinforces the importance of
working hard at school by listening and paying attention.
3.What’s the first thing a student should do when they get home?
Teacher: It is to every kid's advantage to grab a snack and do homework while a large
portion of their memory still houses many details of schoolwork earlier that day.
4.What are the critical elements for smooth classroom learning and discussion?
Teacher: Make sure each student understands their assignment. Explain thoroughly, then
show examples as a teacher to ensure that the student is tracking correctly. Furthermore,
teachers should continue to walk around checking for accuracy and help if needed.
5.When you are having a bad day, how do you handle students that may be difficult or
possibly make you angry in the classroom?
Teacher: Prayer always puts my day in order, but that does not exclude me from challenges.
However, when I face challenges, such as a problematic student, I immediately place my
feelings aside and rise to meet the student's needs. Acknowledging and validating the
student's feelings and emotions, we explore where the real root of the behavior derives, then
find solutions.
Collaboration (Colleagues)
A. Collaboration benefits teachers individually by allowing them to think outside their box.
B. Collaboration benefits teachers' ability to realize they can do some exercise or technique
better.
C. Collaboration ultimately benefits teachers in a way to have a friend on the job in a time of
need.
First, prayer is vital to opening your eyes and heart to caring for God's people. In
Hebrews 13:16 (ESV), the Bible says, "Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have,
for such sacrifices are pleasing to God." Second, planning is essential to preparing for what
might occur and executing your plan. Planning for distractions seems very important so students
do not panic. Third and final, listening to cancel from other colleagues' and parents' responses
will help you effectively execute your plan. According to Jeremiah 29:13(ESV), “Then you will
call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. You will seek me and find me when
you seek me with all your heart.” I plan to implement the lesson plan according to the law, using
grace and love.
