I have interest in applying for a teaching position at your elementary school. I have
confidence that I meet the job specifications. I have three years teaching experience on third to
fifth grade level, in both urban and suburban school districts. I have previously taught third-grade
students at a small suburban school setting and fifth-grade at a place-based charter school. Your
school accommodates both urban and suburban students and my varied experiences in both
settings would be a perfect fit. I have also been involved in community service projects in my
previous schools. I led fourth-graders to volunteer at a nearby community hospital on a feeding
program. I would love to find ways to incorporate service learning into classroom plans.
2. Please provide any additional information you desire that will afford an increased
understanding of your qualifications. Goals, objectives, philosophy, and other background

students have a right to learn hence my moral obligation to encourage and nature a positive
educational environment. My responsibility as a teacher is to grow my students mentally,
emotionally and socially. I desire to create an atmosphere where students meet their full

performance. I look forward to building a long-term career as a teacher in a position that offers
opportunities, career growth and technological advancements.

apply in my classroom include discipline, observational and clear planning skills. To be labeled
and considered as a good teacher, discipline is a crucial skill. Your personal discipline
encourages a positive behavior among students. As a teacher I believe observational skills are a
crucial part of my career. With effective observational skills I can understand my students’
emotional, cognitive and social development.Clear planning skills helps me outline my objective
for each class while boasting my confindence infront of students.
