Biblical Worldview Paper Assignment 3
Introduction
Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but he who hates correction is stupid.
Proverbs 12:1-2, NIV. This verse explains down to the tee of how everyone should want to be in
life. The more knowledge each of us gains, the better we can be at making better choices of
everyday situations. Worldview’s definition is a comprehensive conception or philosophy of the
universe and of humanity’s relation to it. Adding biblical to the word means adding in God. This
is when having a faith background can help you in every aspect of life. The biblical worldview of
an educator could come from many backgrounds. The backgrounds can be from our parents, our
specific religious beliefs, music we like and are exposed to, the media such as TV. and social
media, and movies that we watch.
The ability to project viewpoints in the classroom significantly impacts how we can
shape future generations. As future, current, and retired educators, we must speak and act from a
place of faith because our goodness will then be seen in all that we do. We must learn about and
study the Bible, and we must behave toward others as Jesus did. To promote honorable deeds to
those we educate, we must live as examples of Christ and his teachings.
Biblical Worldview
We as people must live and know the Bible, as well as apply it to daily life, to have a
biblical worldview. We adopt his traits and his word as God's creatures and God's followers. All
Christians have a responsibility to reflect God's character and share his message via their actions.
We must act in accordance with God's likeness alone, reflecting his compassion, joy, and
kindness. We must develop the virtues of faithfulness and love, and we must comprehend the
value of patience.

In accordance with this perspective, I can serve God and yet have an impact on people's
lives. I am also able to provide them with the information and abilities they need to succeed in
school and in their future efforts. Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved,
clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. Bear with each
other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord
forgave you. And love, which binds them all together in perfect unity. Colossians 3;12-14 NIV.
It is odd to hear that many individuals now consider Christianity to be extremely
persuasive and in need of revision to match the realities of the contemporary world. As
Christians, we need to find strategies to change unfavorable perceptions of Christianity. This is
crucial because it allows us to share with others and the classroom our love for Christ. No matter
a person's race, creed, color, gender, or age, the love of Christ has the power to transform their
lives.
Christian Philosophy of Education
The title of this article accurately describes the Christian philosophy of education, which
is based on Christian values, beliefs, and the Bible. Christian teachers will inspire students in the
classroom with upbeat attitudes and kind intentions. By exhibiting compassion, joy, and
kindness, they will impart knowledge in a way that is agreeable to God and his message.
Christian beliefs can guide a teacher's approach to punishment, conflicts, and parent interactions.
The Christian perspective of education can be effective if an educator demonstrates high moral
standards and kindness in every circumstance.
Instead of choosing virtues for self-serving motives like personal prejudice, Christian
teachers should reflect all of Christ's teaching in their actions. To foster harmony in the
classroom and train pupils to be moral citizens in the future, the teacher must enable a decent and

moral learning model. The principles that support "the underlying truth that explains reality"
surround the metaphysical difficulties in the classroom (Gutek, 2011).
Implications for Educational Practice
Teachers teaching what they believe is one of the effects of a biblical worldview and
Christian philosophy on educational methods. Therefore, this suggests a manner of always
teaching in the light of God and without allowing human concerns or feelings to influence one's
teaching in any other way. If you are not fully committed to the biblical worldview inside your
teaching, it may be difficult to put what you preach into practice.
Some students may come into the classroom hesitating how their time will be in your
class. Having confidence in your faith will show the students that regardless of how things are
going at any time in their day, if they have positivity, they will gain that faith you were able to
show them over time. Seeing students have that courage is amazing and proves that there is truth
the Christian faith.
Conclusion
Wrapping up, biblical worldviews should be almost identical to Christ as he has shown us
how it should be for education. This will make sure that all students and teachers alike should
live and learn how God has created us to do. Adding this into education only helps students get
the amazing opportunity to realize how faith works and can provide positivity to succeed
academically, spiritually, and mentally.
This is sometimes a touchy subject of how exactly to get Gods word back into schools. If
students can see the difference in how educators are every day with their attitude towards
themselves and each other, they will soon follow. The students can see how the progress is and
realize how much easier it is to learn in classes that have more happiness. This shows the

students they have the support of the teachers at all levels, and they can come for help at any
time without hesitation.
