Everyone needs love in their lives, and most people respond well to love. Jesus said, the
most important commandment is to “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all
your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your
neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these” (Mark 12:30-31).
Admiration, humility, and submission is the foundation from where love flows. It is also the
foundation of solid relationships. Love is a primary response to God, and when we love God,
there is a natural extension of His love to our neighbors. Our love for God causes us to draw
closer to Him and feel His presence. The love of God gives us the faith to believe that He is
working things out for our good. Every facet of the Christian life is based on God’s love towards
us and our love for God. Without love it’s impossible to experience the fullness of God.
When we experience God’s love it can be so overwhelming when we come to understand
the depth and capacity of His mercy because of His love. God’s love is so overpowering, and
igniting that we shout, run, dance, or even fall prostrate in reverence. I have heard some people
and even Christians say, “It doesn’t take all that.” What does that comment really mean? when
they say, “It doesn’t take all that”? I have noticed that most Christians that do not necessarily
display and outward visual of praise, look at the Christians that do and say, “well, I just don’t
