ANALYSIS OF THE MICRO-PROJECT
1
Analysis of the Micro-Project
The analysis of the micro-project related to the website creation for Rehoboth Church is
an important step to understand possible perspectives for the project implementation and, overall,
to see how advantageous the project may be and what parties will benefit from it. Hence, it is
possible to state that the micro-project has its strong and weak sides. First of all, strong sides will
be analyzed that will allow determining what issues appear in different stages of the micro-
project implementation. Overall, the very concept of the project and its implementation is not
complicated, however, the further the project develops, the more minor problems appear that
eventually become barriers to achieving the goal of the project realization. The first problem is
the difficulty in finding an online platform on which to develop a website. Considering the
current state of any area in general, a priority would be a minimum investment in the website
with the prospect of its optimal maintenance and improvement in the future based on the goals
and needs of the church. Here, either an online platform or cooperation with an IT specialist is
required and, in the end, the final choice will be based on the financial possibilities of the church
and convenience of the website maintenance.
The second problem that arises is the lack of assurance that the project will meet the
needs of all target groups. Each person is different, and it is especially important to try to make a
product that is easy to use for the elderly and that also can be approachable to use. At this stage,
it becomes necessary to conduct surveys among senior Churchgoers who could share their
thoughts about the project and offer their ideas for improving it. However, the final objective
conclusion regarding the micro-project effectiveness will be possible to develop after the target
group will be able to use the website and share their thoughts about this experience. Finally, the
situation with the website maintenance is unclear and, again, it depends on the financial situation

of the church as well as on the website demand. In case the website is not in demand or does not
meet the requirements of users, it will either be closed or work to improve the website and
correct errors should be done.
Despite the presence of certain pitfalls in the micro-project development, it is possible to
outline specific advantages of the project and its strong sides. First of all, it is possible to
highlight the importance of church development in the technological area. The creation of a
website for a church is an indicator of following the current trend in the development of society.
This will ultimately not only meet the needs of the Churchgoers but also attract more people to
serve and attend church.1 The website will also help to increase awareness about the need for
increased leadership participation at the church so the website use is a great possibility to achieve
the goal. Another advantage of creating a website is to attract the attention of people from the
outside since the site created a digital environment for interaction and receiving of the necessary
information.2 Here it is possible to mention not only the Churchgoers but also interested
individuals who, if they wish, could devote time to the church, for instance, participating in
volunteer work that is quite relevant for Rehoboth Church. It would be possible to create a
separate section on the website dedicated to volunteering and leadership participation at the
church. The last aspect which is possible to outline here is a perspective base for further church
development. If the site becomes an effective means of communication for people and a source
for receiving necessary and relevant information, it is possible to talk about a successful micro-
project implementation and this can serve as a reason for the further development of the church
using various media and innovative modern technologies. For instance, the church may be

interested in organizing virtual, online services, creating interest groups for people with different
interests/problems, and getting involved in social work with other organizations through
communication using a website or social networks.
Having identified the strengths and weaknesses of the micro-project, it immediately
becomes clear the prospects for the development of the project and the chances for its successful
implementation. In general, it all depends on taking into account various aspects when creating a
site, namely design, published information, website performance, its functionality, etc. At this
point, it is possible to predict raised interest in the website from a target group as well as from
other interested parties. Improvement of the project will be able to expand the scope of
stakeholders and contribute to the development of the church in the information and innovation
space. Moreover, it is important to take into account that the project has the possibility of further
development, as well as the concept of the website, which may change depending on the needs of
the target group, church goals, and possibilities. The micro-project can be a great addition to the
resources of the church, which the latter can use for its purposes and focus on the interests of the
Churchgoers. In the end, analyzes was able to research the strong and weak sides of the micro-
project and conclude that the project has all possible chances to become a successful resource for
a target group and a perspective for further development to meet the needs of other parties that
interested in the development of the church.
