The poultry business, when conducted at a commercial scale, offers substantial returns, driven by
the versatility of birds used for meat, eggs, ornamental purposes, and their high global
demand. This business model is characterized by easy marketing, income and
employment opportunities, and relatively low maintenance costs. The production of farm
eggs, vital for human nutrition, underscores the importance of increasing poultry bird
numbers to meet industry and household demands.
1.2 The Technology A defining factor in this poultry system is the integration of technology.
This technology not only enhances production rates but also reduces expenses and
extends the life expectancy of birds. Commercial poultry farm production demands full-
