Abstract
Human life consists of 3 substantial stages of personality development: childhood, adolescence
and adulthood. I would like to think that I have grown into a very well-rounded young lady, but
of course I would not be who I am today if it had not been for my personal history and life
experiences. I have achieved a lot throughout my lifetime, but that also came with a lot of
obstacles in my past that I am still currently dealing with today. While studying for this course I
have recognized some theories, practices and components that are congruent with how I was
raised and the experiences I went through up to this point. This paper will highlight major
aspects that contributed to my overall development and also aspects that have negatively
impacted my life and behaviors.
