Presenting Problem (2 pages)
Trevor Blaine is a forty-five-year-old Caucasian male. He is married to his wife Sharon
Blaine of twenty years and has three children, the eldest daughter is 20 years old, the second son
is 15 years old and the third son is 9-years-old. Trevor and his family live in large family home in
suburban area. Trevor is seeing the practitioner today due to his obsessive thoughts and his sport
accident which caused an injury. The client Trevor states, “Ever since I torn my anterior cruciate
ligament playing basketball with my son and close friends, I keep having recurring thoughts that
I am going to get sick and pass away”. In addition, Trevor conveys that he cannot get sick,
because he needs to take care of his family.
