Abstract
My O*NET report scores reported that I had the highest in ASE, artistic, social, and enterprising.
I still had high scores for IRC, investigative, realistic, and conventional, but ASE was my top
three, which gave me results that connected to each other somehow. My top three values from
the value sort were religion, having a family, and close relationships. From the way I was raised,
these values have been instilled upon me since I was young. My values and my traits connect in
that they have to do with connection, either with people or with God. Along with that, the
spiritual discernment approach that connects both my traits and values is the wisdom approach. I
look to God first for decisions, and I look to Him for guidance in every aspect of my life,
including when I read the Bible. The wisdom approach to me means that I seek counsel from the
Holy Spirit more than anything else, and if it aligns with the Bible or wise counsel, I know it is
from God. Due to my traits, I scored highest in the artistic section, which led me to the
profession of preschool teacher and fashion designer. Preschool teaching is like what I do now in
that working with kids is the focus, but preschool teachers receive less benefits and lower
salaries compared to that of a counselor.
