1) First Topic of Interest: I wonder if teaching self-compassion to young adults will help ease
the initial intense fear of interacting with people?
Gap Statement: “Second, an increase in the sample would also be advisable for investigating
coping strategies as latent variables in a longitudinal mediation model, which would permit
estimating the relative contribution of each type of coping strategy ( tefan, 2019, p.126).”Ș
“Third, this study's main focus was on the total self-compassion score, hence the relative
contribution of positive and negative self-compassion was not estimated ( tefan, 2019, p.126).”Ș
