Specific Goal: I want to inform my audience about the social problem of
vaping and to persuade them that educating is a good solution
for this problem for several reasons, one of which is the fact
that this solution, if successful, will promote truth, which is
something that God values according to Scripture. ( 1

I have a family member experience health issues due to vaping.

The dangerous side effects of vaping can e solved by bringing awareness and
educating people, through God's honoring way of presenting the truth about
vapes.

I. Main Point 1. All around the world in today's society almost all traditional
smokers have converted to vapes due being mislead that vapes are harmless.
A. Vapes can cause gum damage. The damage to the gums can lead to the
tissue being damaged as well. This can lead to one's teeth falling out due to
the gum tissues not being healthy enough to hold the tooth in place.

B. Vapes exposes a person to toxins that can possibly lead to cancers such as
lung cancer, and throat cancer.
C. COPD and general lung issues is another effect of vaping.
Transition: Now you know some effects of vaping let's speak on a solution to
the problem.
II. Main Point 2. One way to solve the issue with vapes is to bring awareness by
educating people on the truth about vapes.
A. When a person is presented with the dangers of vaping their response is I
did not now vapes has many side effects.
B. Creating a program that exposes the truth about vapes will bring more
awareness to those who currently vape as well as those who are thinking
about vaping.
C. Speaking truth honors God."Lying lips are in abomination to the Lord; but
those who act faithfully are his delight."(Proverbs 12:22)
Transition: Hopefully with the solution I have given it will help with the

The knowledge about vapes must be brought to awareness with the truth about
them and the dangers of vaping. The truth may lead to less vaping and lower
people who are at a high health risk for vaping.
II. End with a Clincher I hope this speech persuades at least one person who
vapes to quit today.
