Response to Cjus 610 Flywheel
Informative post! A flywheel is defined as the principle where the company is cautious
about working towards benefiting the customers rather than focusing on transactions. I agree that
every organization should put more effort into satisfying customers' requirements at the start, as
stated by the Flywheel principle. However, it may look challenging to appeal to all customers
who may want to be associated with the organization. Therefore, it is good that we practice
consistent ways of handling things positively that will appeal to clients, leading to winning more
customers. I agree that the doom loop should be categorized as a negative model that takes place
when banking institutions have sovereign bonds with the government while at the same time the
state possesses weak public finances. The flywheel effect is evident in Amazon. The
organization started by having a low-cost structure that did not require much from the founder.
The company engaged in the principles, and it ensured that customers got the best experiences
because they were attended in a satisfactory manner (Covi & Eydam, 2020). The biblical
standpoint psalms 128:2 emphasizes that we shall enjoy and eat the fruits of our own hands. As
Christians, we become successful when we put our faith in God and understand that He blesses
our work.

2nd Discussion
The post sheds light on the flywheel concept that focuses on the central idea of pushing
towards a goal to produce momentum to keep changes ongoing. I agree that the flywheel concept
is goal-oriented and achievable, while the doom loop is damaging and can result in an
organization's failure in the long run. The flywheel image captures the overall feel of what it felt
to be inside the organization as they transformed from good to excellent (Peppler, 2019). Your
experiences enlighten me on the differences and advantages of the flywheel and doom loop
concept. The first experience of the flywheel concept that involved working for the state police is
very informative. The state police were always focused on maintaining a goal of safety and
upholding the federal laws. Still, also they wanted to do it in a way that served the community
adequately. In the second example, working as a fraud investor for a bank that had a doom loop,
I have learned that the bank focused on what other competitors were doing and worried less
about their own goals. I agree that Amazon is one of the most successful organizations because
they use the flywheel concept. They focus on the satisfaction of the customers, which attracts
more people to the company. According to the book of Psalms 128:3, Christians should work
because God blesses the work of our own hands.
